The annual Leadership Camp is a time for leaders across our diocese to come together as whānau to play, pray, learn, and rekindle our passion for ministry. This year’s theme is "A Deeper Life with Jesus"—an invitation to slow down, listen, and deepen our walk with Christ.
Held in beautiful St Arnaud, Leadership Camp runs from Thursday 3 July to Sunday 6 July 2025 and is open to ordained and non-ordained leaders alike. If you can’t make the whole weekend, day visitors—especially on Friday—are warmly welcomed.
This year, we are excited to welcome Sam Harvey as our guest speaker. Sam is the National Coordinator for 24-7 Prayer in Aotearoa and the lead pastor of Bay Vineyard Church in the Hawke’s Bay. Sam will be encouraging us to go deeper in prayer and in our walk with Jesus. He’s passionate about good food, good music, good waves, and seeing God's Kingdom come in everyday life.
We are also privileged to be joined by Bishop Oscar Muriu and his wife Bea from Kenya. Bishop Oscar will lead our Bible studies throughout the weekend, and we are expectant for the wisdom and encouragement they will bring.
Leadership Camp is designed not just for leaders but for their whānau too—it’s a time to rest, to reconnect, and to re-vision together.
