On Sundays we learn about the world around us and how God wants us to be! Come and have fun!

The Cathedral Walking Group is for people who want to walk together around Nelson and then go and have a cuppa afterwards. A nice walk and simple socialising.

Come to CAMEO (Come and Meet Each Other) for a lovely afternoon tea in china cups with delightful food and conversation, an occasionally a fun activity such as a quiz or song. Come and be pampered.

Come along to cook easy, delicious food with your young ones while enjoying great conversations and coffee!

Whānau nights are a fun, easy night out for families to enjoy a shared meal, games and an opportunity to meet other families in the community.

A relaxed fun time with music and movement for pre schoolers and their parents. A great way to meet people and form new friendships.

Messy Church is church for families who may not find other forms of church appealing and who don't yet belong to a church. Includes crafts and games, a short bible talk, and dinner provided.

A fun and welcoming group, doing age-appropriate exercises, morning tea, and table games.

Steady as You Go exercises every week, then on the fourth Thursday a community speaker will do a small presentation with a light lunch to follow.

Each year a selection of gardens is carefully selected to form a self-transported tour. The tour includes a plant stall, a pop-up cafe' and BBQ.

For those who are unable to come to church, this is a small, welcoming service in the resthome

A market selling all sorts of second-hand goods. Come down for an explore, or connect with others.

We offer 3 varied exercise classes, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursdays. Every 4th Thursday of the month an Older Persons Seminar with guest speakers, entertainment and lunch.

Kids n Koffee is a free, weekly Community Play group with indoor , outdoor play areas, music and story time. Suited for tamariki aged between 0-6 years.

Don't be alone. Belong! We warmly invite Seniors from the Nelson community to Super Seniors. We gather and natter. We coffee/tea and biscuit. We listen and learn. AND THEN we lunch!

A home cooked meal which is available for anyone living in the Wakefield or Brightwater area. Donations accepted

We provide food parcels to Tapawera Area School families through a pastoral dean at the school who identifies families in need.

Healing Horticulture is a short course using basic horticultural topics to reach people interested in learning about basic gardening or who just need a bit of support.

We meet in the Nativity Lounge for a time of board games and afternoon tea.

Tunes 4 Tots is a fun time for children and their carers that meets weekly in the hall of Nativity church. It is an opportunity for children 0-6yrs to come together for music, play and morning tea.

Care and Share is for anyone who loves doing crafts. A place to create, chat with like minded creatives, share ideas, learn new crafting skills and make friends.
