How to tell a testimony in two minutes

Over this past year, I’ve hosted a number of storytelling workshops focused on how we can better share our personal experiences of how Jesus has impacted our lives. I recently recorded so that anyone in our diocese can learn how to identify a personal story of faith and share it within a few minutes.

Our stories, no matter how small or grand they seem, have the power to touch hearts and inspire faith in others.

Each of us has a unique journey with Christ. When we share these experiences, we're not just recounting events – we're testifying to God's active presence in our lives. This testimony can be a powerful tool for evangelism and encouragement.

If you’re interested in learning more about the power of storytelling you can watch the workshop. It’s about reflection, creativity and expression. Don't worry about perfection. It's the authenticity that counts!

Your story is powerful. It’s a reflection of your journey with God, and it has the potential to inspire and encourage others in their faith. Let’s embrace this opportunity to share our stories and witness the incredible ways God is working in our lives and the lives of those around us.

Once you’ve put your story together, I’d love to hear it! Feel free to contact me if you have questions, need help or would like your testimony recorded. We also have a growing collection of recorded testimonies from individuals who have attended the workshop. These stories are a testament to the diverse ways God is moving in our community.

We have invited these writers to share their experiences, ideas and opinions in the hope that these will provoke thought, challenge you to go deeper and inspire you to put your faith into action.
