The Nelson Region is coming alive this Easter with services that invite you to reflect, rejoice, and rediscover the heart of the Gospel. Across our parishes—from dawn at Tahunanui Beach to choral worship in the Cathedral—there are powerful opportunities to encounter the risen Christ.
Palm Sunday – 13 April
• 8am – Holy Communion
• 10am – Choral Communion
• 5:30pm – Evensong
Maundy Thursday – 17 April
• 7pm – Maundy Thursday Service (includes foot washing)
Good Friday – 18 April
• 10am – Service of the Cross featuring The Crucifixion by John Stainer
The Cathedral will be open all day for reflection.
Easter Sunday – 20 April
• 8am – Holy Communion
• 10am – Easter Choral Communion (please bring a flower for the cross)
Good Friday – 18 April
• 10am – Reflective Service
Easter Sunday – 20 April
• 7am – Dawn Service @ Tahunanui Beach (Cancelled due to weather)
• 9am – Reflective Service
• 4pm – Church@4 Family Service (followed by a shared meal – bring a plate)
Maundy Thursday – 17 April
• 7pm – Maundy Thursday Service (includes foot washing)
Good Friday – 18 April
• 10am – Reflective Service
Easter Sunday – 20 April
• 10am – Easter Celebration (Combined Service with an egg hunt for the kids)
Good Friday – 18 April
• 2:15pm–3pm – Reflective Walk with Christ to the Cross
Palm Sunday – 13 April
• 8:30am – NZ Prayer Book Service (Healing)
• 10am – Family Worship “Jesus Matters – Come & See”
Good Friday – 18 April
• 9:30am – Reflective Service (Combined)
Easter Sunday – 20 April
• 9:30am – Easter Celebration (Combined) – “Jesus Is Risen”
