Convergence Camp 2025: A Gospel-Shaped Life

Kia ora Nelson Diocese whānau!

Convergence Camp is just around the corner and it’s the best way to start the year: gathering at Bethany Park in the stunning Kaiteriteri as a church family. This year, we’re diving into the theme “A Gospel-Shaped Life: Telling Others the Good News” with our guest speakers, Mark and Kirsty Johnson. These two bring a wealth of experience from their time leading St Tom’s in Wellington and their on-the-ground work with the New Age hippie scene across Aotearoa. Their passion for connecting with people and living out the Gospel in creative ways is sure to inspire and challenge us all.

Why Come to Convergence?

First off, it’s an absolute blast. Whether you’re hitting the beach, lounging in the sun, or getting stuck into the camp games, there’s always something fun going on. But more than that, it’s a time of spiritual refreshment – a chance to recalibrate and refocus on what matters most.

The beauty of Convergence is in connection. It’s not just for families or a specific age group, everyone is welcome. Young or young-at-heart, introvert or extrovert, there’s a place for you here. Together, we’re one big whānau, supporting and encouraging each other in our faith journeys.
