This role is focused on strengthening social connection, care, hospitality, and community engagement, with a particular emphasis on supporting people aged 65 and over within the Cathedral congregation and the wider Nelson community.
About the Role
The Cathedral Ministries Programme Leader plays a key leadership role in pastoral care, hospitality, and outreach. You will work closely with the Dean, parishioners, volunteers, and community agencies to nurture wellbeing, build relationships, and ensure that older members of our community feel valued, connected, and supported.
This is a people-focused role combining pastoral presence, volunteer leadership, coordination, and practical administration.

Membership of the Cathedral worshipping community would be an advantage.
