The role of Cathedral Children’s Worker (CCW) will further the mission of Nelson Cathedral by providing a children’s ministry programme (CathedralKids) during the 10am service that is fun and relevant in exploring what Christianity means for children. Approximate age range of children, 5-12 years (primary age). Through this ministry, the mission of the Cathedral will be expressed as “a place of growing discipleship”. The CathedralKids programme follows the Anglican Lectionary (as do our services) and can utilise the outlines and resources from Bible Explore. Children's Worker will also need to coordinate a roster of helpers for this programme.
