Are you ready for a refreshing start to the year? Convergence Camp is back, and it's going to be incredible!

All ages are welcome! Whether you're a family, a seasoned member or a young soul, Convergence Camp is your big Anglican whānau reunion.

Rev Mathew Newton is leading the sessions at Convergence 2027 with the theme: “Serving God's Purpose in Making All Things New”.

Mathew Newton was ordained in the Nelson Diocese and now leads Saint Augustine's, an Anglican Mission Venture in the Diocese of Auckland. Along with a small team, Mathew and Sarah planted Saint Augustine's in 2016 and have had the joy of seeing this Church grow to over 500 people. Mathew is committed to seeing the revitalisation of the Anglican Church in Aotearoa New Zealand, is involved in theological education and ministry leadership development, and provides spiritual support to a number of entrepreneurs and business leaders.

I’m excited to be back in my hometown, and an honour to be contributing to camp. Nelson is one of the best places in the world – the great wine and the amazing people more than make up for the marginal surfing.
