This is an event for anyone who is involved or interested in Children’s Ministry. It is not just for ministry team leaders, but for every member of a ministry team. There is no doubt that when a team attends a training event together the team and the ministry is strengthened. Each member will feel encouraged, motivated and as if their contribution to ministry is acknowledged.

I would encourage clergy and parish leaders to attend as well. Not only will you gain a greater insight into ministry to children, but the message of support your attendance sends to those from your parish involved in this area of ministry is priceless. While I would encourage you to attend all sessions on the day, you may wish to only attend specific sessions or workshops. Just let me (Sue) know which sessions.

Extensive advertising of this training opportunity has been sent to parishes both through the diocese and directly from The Scripture Union. But if you need more information or seem to have missed out in receiving this advertising, then please don’t hesitate to contact me.
